Picture this- you wake up, hit your alarm clock, roll out of bed, and brush your teeth. You feel drained because you didn’t get enough sleep. You throw on your clothes, eat a leftover donut from the night before, get to work, and rush to read around 100 emails. Then, after a long, exhausting day, you go home, turn on the television, eat some leftover pizza, and plop on the couch.
This routine doesn’t sound very appealing, does it? Well, that was my existence for many years. I had a very unhealthy daily routine that left me feeling depressed and unhappy.
When I finally had enough of feeling stuck in a rut, I decided to make a lifestyle change that would transform my life- and it did. After this decision, I was much healthier mentally, physically, and emotionally.
When I decided to change my routine, I knew I had to focus on 3 main areas: Physical health, diet, and motivation. When I formed a routine around these things, my life improved almost instantly.
Giving yourself time throughout the week to work out or get in some physical activity will improve your confidence and physical fitness.
Finding an eating regimen that nourishes your body will give you the energy you need to conquer your day.
Consuming motivational content daily will help keep you focused and inspired.
Focusing on these 3 areas is important if you want to create a better daily routine for yourself. The best routines keep these things in mind, so make sure you do too when creating your own routine!
