Have you ever met a person who seemed to be so charming but after a while it seemed like all they did was talk about themselves?
They turned every topic into a discussion about their life, they seemed very critical of other people and you could just feel the negative energy draining out of their pores?
Well you may have been dealing with a narcissist. When it comes to building confidence, self-love and self-respect you need to be mindful of the type of people you allow in your life.
Narcissist personality types are some of the worse types of behavior to deal with when creating a life, you love. So, it’s super important to understand the traits, behavior of narcissists, and how to stop attracting them into your life.
A narcissist is a psychological personality disorder in which a person needs all of the focus to be on them, they need a lot of attention, admiration and tend to negatively react when they don’t get what they want.
Narcissists often behave as if the world revolves around them, they have very little empathy for others unless they realize that showing empathy will give them more attention.
I have had clients that have dealt with narcissists in romantic relationships and friendships. And they can not seem to understand why they attract these types of people.
Unfortunately, it’s possible that if you have dealt with narcissists, you may have grown up in a house with a narcissist parent or sibling. I see this so often with people who have had a parent that was an alcoholic or drug user or the parent was dealing with mental health issues or was physically abusive to the other parent.
So, when you grow up as an adult woman, you still attract narcissist relationships because in your mind you think that behavior is normal.
If you are sick of dealing with unhealthy behavior from people and ready to learn how to attract better friendships, create clear boundaries and speak up for yourself, then take a look at my course, “The 5 Keys to Magnetizing Confidence” and learn more about how to build a more confident, fulfilled life.
